Raramente ho visto una collezione tanto sofisticata e al tempo stesso portabile e “easy”. Easy perché è fresca, agile e disinvolta. Il fit è perfetto, e i disegni che simulano l’imbastitura sono geniali.

Tutta la collezione ruota intorno all’heritage del brand: la pelle.

ICEBERG
E’ tempo di voltare pagina; Iceberg lo ha fatto con determinazione sfilando una collezione lineare, essenziale e molto moderna.

SALVATORE FERRAGAMO
Il classico-formale lascia più spazio ad una ricerca fondata su un’idea di uomo piuttosto anti-convenzionale: “aggressivo” e più sportivo. La collezione è astutamente focalizzata sulla pelle e su un concetto di sport-deluxe.

CARUSO
Sergio Colantuoni punta su quell’eleganza pratica e raffinata che lo rappresenta. L’aspetto più straordinario di questa collezione è che il comfort non è mai nemico del garbo: un lusso under statement inarrivabile.

CALVIN KLEIN COLLECTION

Una collezione di capi essenziali, dall’abito monopetto alla camicia denim inspired, che rubano al cielo tonalità e fantasie.

VIVIENNE WESTWOOD
L’immaginario di Westwood è complesso e affascinante. L’irriverenza caratteristica del suo stile non si smentisce – quasi – mai, dimostrando di saper evolvere, pur mantenendo i suoi codici.

MISSONI
Questa sfilata mette d’accordo i puristi dello stile Missoni e chi – dal brand – si aspetta una maggiore contemporaneità. Francamente: mi piacerebbe che tanti uomini si vestissero così. In questa collezione ci sono spessore, intelligenza, tanta passione e infinita esperienza.

 DAKS
Atmosfere anni venti da Grande Gatsby.

PRADA
Penso che nessuno sia capace di trasformare qualcosa di kitsch (come le stampe tropicali) nel suo esatto contrario come sa fare Prada e, questo, è uno dei suoi maggiori punti di forza. Lo shape dei pantaloni che si allarga sotto giacche o giubbotti non esageratamente asciutti, rimodella la silouhette ed ecco che nasce una nuova, rassicurante eleganza.

ROBERTO CAVALLI
Il “gentlemen club” di Cavalli continua il suo percorso iniziato a gennaio con l’autunno/inverno. Gentiluomo ma con molta grinta e una gran coscienza di sé e una discreta forma di autocompiacimento: che non ha mai fatto del male a nessuno.

It’s not easy to organize and realize a fashion shoot . The role of a creative director it’s essential as much as the photographer’s skills and creativity.
A team working on set is formed by many characters: the fashion editor (stylist), the groomer (hair and make up), the photographer’s assistants, the fashion assistant and obviously the subject.  A good overall result depends on the general mood of the team, the chemistry and harmony between the members. The empathic exchange between photographer and the subject portrayed it’s also an essential element, like the synergy between staff members. When you come across perfectly balanced situations on set, which can be rare, it’s possible to take outstanding pictures despite the worst odds, when you are shooting outdoors and it starts pouring rain, for example. His physical attributes remind us of Marc Porel and Mark Frechette, the main carachter in “Zabriskie Point” : I am talking about Marco Bocci, better known as police commissioner Scialoja (from the tv serie Romanzo Criminale) or deputy police superintendent Calcaterra ( from Squadra Antimafia). He’s from Umbria like Filippo Timi, good looking like Alain Delon and versatile like Giancarlo Giannini. He’s also very polite, empathetic and professional on photographic sets. He’s not very tall and that makes it easier for us to “dress him up” in the biggest brands as they never make samples for the lanky ones. He’s gifted with natural charm. He has that look, long hair and a little bit of beard, which remind us of a 70s aesthetic that is coming back into fashion, more for the look itself than for the clothing. He looks very good in jacket and tie but he does prefere a more casual outfit in everyday life, choosing easy and wearable clothing in order not to draw much attention to his figure. Although, he does, have a nice figure.
