MONDO UOMO 1991

The first steps of Dolce&Gabbana in menswear. That style of neorealist movies that led them to success: tank top, pure white shirt and baggy trousers; the model is Antonis, one of the top of that moment. Ph. Diego D’Alessandro.

UOMO 2001

That issue’s subject: “Stand out from the crowd”. And it sounds so appropriate today: then it was a “dedication” to fashionable transgressors. Today this happens with a different feeling: standing out from the crowd, today, means breaking the conformism with the need to express one’s own personality. Ph. Maria Vittoria Backhaus. Jacket Comme des Garçons.

UOMO 2003

“Uomo” was a theme quarterly magazine: the subject of the april 2003 issue was Water. And in this picture by Rodolfo Martinez the model posed as a “castaway”, wearing Emporio Armani clothes.

PRADA 2003

The summer of garlands: a magnificent collection.
