Forse perché giocava in casa, ma questa collezione è una delle più belle tra quelle firmate da Bailey e – in assoluto – una delle migliori sfilate estive mai viste. Trascurando un po’ la sua anima “techno” a favore di un abbigliamento più morbidamente classico, lo stilista ha sovrapposto diversi colori e tessuti, in un gioco di contrasti “moda” ed estremamente glamour.
La sfilata rispetta l’idea di una moda-non moda “senza tempo”. Esattamente come nelle campagne pubblicitarie, scattate da Garda Tang, Hackett mantiene la linearità stilistica coerente con la filosofia del brand-icona.

Maybe because he played at home, but this collection is one of the most beautiful by Bailey and – overall – one of the best spring/summer collections ever seen. Leaving aside his “techno” soul, in favour of a more softly classic clothing, the designer has combined different colours and fabric, in a play of “fashion” and extremely glamourous contrasts.

The show respects the idea of a “timeless” fashion-not fashion. Just like in advertising campaigns, shot by Garda Tang, Hackett keeps the stylistic linearity, coherent with the icon-brand philosophy.
